The Department of Electrical and Photonics Engineering, DTU Electro, employs more than 220 researchers and is a world-leading institution in optical communications, networks, and photonic integration, cf. recent international evaluation. In the NEUROPIC project, DTU Electro will develop novel programmable photonic networks based on nano-electro-mechanical systems (NEMS).
